Description: Pine Cay is a secluded 800-acre privately owned island, conveniently located just 560 miles southeast of Miami. The only resort on the island, the Meridian Club is beautifully positioned on a two-mile stretch of talcum-powder beach, considered by many as the finest in the Caribbean. Soothing trade winds ensure comfortable temperatures and low humidity year round.
The Club is an environmentally sensitive resort, ideal for those seeking an unspoiled retreat. Its 12 rooms and the Sand Dollar Cottage, are set among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes, fronting on the beach. Some of the privately owned homes that share the island are also available for rent.
No children under 12 permitted.
This property is closed from August 1-October 31 each year.

| Scuba Diving - Resort courses are offered for beginners; experienced divers will need their PADI/NAUI dive certification cards. Transportation is by boat, then taxi to your outfitter on Provo. Small sailboats are available on the beach. The rental of larger private sailboats may be arranged. The near constant breeze makes for wonderful sailing. Experience world-class deep sea fishing in the sheltered waters just beyond the national park reef. Have your catch prepared by our chef for dinner as your own personal "catch of the day." Half- and full-day trips are available. Bonefishing on the flats off Pine Cay is excellent and challenging. Whether a seasoned expert or raw beginner, one of our friendly guides will assist you in every way for a half-day outing. Eco-Adventures - With more than 33% of its land and waters set aside for preservation, The Turks and Caicos Islands is deserving of its slogan “Beautiful by Nature”. A wide array of eco-oriented excursions is available. Snorkeling trips are organized by the Club almost daily. Masks, fins, and snorkels are available. Spear fishing and/or underwater collecting are forbidden by law. Nature Walks, Biking, Tennis, Bird Watching, Golf or a stress free Massage Glow-Worm Cruise - Each lunar month, five nights after the full moon, and 55 minutes after sunset, an amazing phenomenon occurs in the current that ebbs from the Caicos Bank, a short boat ride from the Meridian Club. A wonderful 15 minute display of underwater luminescence. |
Location:
| Pine Cay is a secluded island a little over one mile wide and two miles long, approximately 800 acres in size. Geologically, the island is a series of low rolling limestone ridges, formed from solidified beach dunes -- older to the east, while still developing on the western shore. The oolitic limestone is created from the consolidation of egg-shaped grains of coral sand. The gray surface is the result of oxidation and algae growth. |

Children 12 and older are welcome. Children under 18 are not allowed in the upstairs bar area after 6pm unless accompanied by an adult. Cancellation policy: Fully refundable Dec-March 45 days, Christmas/New Year 90 days and all other dates, 30 days prior to arrival. 4% Service Fee will be applied to all cancellations.
